CLEAR Policy
Cookie Notice
CLEAR uses cookies and browser storage to keep sessions working, remember local compatibility-state choices, and support optional offline or reporting features.
Session Cookies
CLEAR uses session cookies to keep you signed in to CLEAR Home and to protect authenticated browser workflows. Those cookies are used for session management and security, not for third-party advertising.
Browser Storage
- `sessionStorage` is used for session-scoped workflow context, generated diagnostic reports, recent report history, and other browser-local data that should clear with the session.
- `localStorage` is limited to lower-sensitivity preferences and explicit legacy migration fallbacks where the surface documents that behavior.
- Browser compatibility flows can cache static assets or generated artifacts to keep a workflow usable across refreshes.
Service Worker And Offline Cache
CLEAR Home can register a service worker to cache shell assets and keep the browser compatibility surface responsive during intermittent connectivity. Cached files are limited to the CLEAR-controlled web app shell and its required static assets.
Telemetry
First-party browser telemetry is opt-in on the surfaces that support it. When enabled, CLEAR records only the event types and operator-controlled storage described on the relevant product surface and operator documentation.
